Our Approach

The mission of Patient Partners Surgery Center is to provide the highest quality ambulatory surgical and related care to the patients we serve. We accomplish that by providing a combination of expert medical skills and customized patient care in a clinical and efficient environment. Our board certified physicians are skilled practitioners in each of their respective areas. As a group, they have performed thousands of outpatient procedures and bring decades of professional health care experience to our center.

Our approach to providing quality patient care is well organized, as well as personalized. From the front reception area to the discharge area, patients are guided through a logical series of steps to be clinically efficient as we are very mindful of their time. We also carefully guide patients through each step of their diagnostic or surgical process. From completion of admission paperwork to follow-up contact after discharge, we pride ourselves in giving patients the personal attention, comfort and safety they deserve.

Our Center

Opened in 2007, Patient Partners Surgery Center is designed with both patients and medical staff in mind. The 10,000-square-foot facility features state-of-the-art testing and surgical equipment, four pre-operative beds, two operating suites, two procedure rooms, five post-operative beds and five discharge beds. As a non-emergency, pre-scheduled ambulatory surgery center, patients do not stay overnight.

Our doctors use the most up-to-date diagnostic and surgical technology and equipment. Our full staff complement of 29 professionals includes highly experienced and trained nurses, technicians and assistants. All of our employees meet stringent written and hands-on job competency requirements, as well as validation and verification of all certifications and licenses.

We have two modern procedure rooms and two fully-equipped operating suites. Throughout all procedures, our nursing staff carefully monitors each patient to ensure that all their comfort, safety and medical needs are met.

All patients receive specific discharge instructions before they leave. And as part of our approach to comprehensive care, our staff follows up with patients a few days after their discharge to check on their condition.

Patient Partners Surgery Center is fully licensed and certified with the Tennessee Department of Health. The center is open 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The building offers plenty of free, convenient parking, as well as designated handicapped spaces. Patient Partners Surgery Center is a non-smoking facility.

Patient Partners Surgery Center is a joint venture of area physicians, Sumner Regional and Nashville-based HealthMark Partners, Inc. HealthMark works with physicians and hospitals that represent the best surgeons in the community. Because HealthMark facilities are focused on a specific scope of services, doctors are able to provide their patients with the highest quality of care in the most efficient setting available.
