Services at Patient Partners Surgery Center are many. The multi-specialty center provides diagnostic testing and surgical procedures including the following:
- Preventive tests, such as colonoscopies and upper GIs, to determine certain diseases of the gastrointestinal tract
- Comprehensive pain management treatment for chronic pain associated with injuries or diseases
- Specialty surgeries including ENT (sinus surgery, septoplasty), GYN (uterine suspensions), and port insertions and removal for chemotherapy patients
- General surgeries to repair hernias and to remove gall bladders, biopsies, skin lesions, abnormal lumps and tissues
- Pediatric surgery including ENT (insertion of ear tubes, and removal of tonsils and adenoids)
- Orthopedic surgery to repair sports medical injuries
- Ophthalmology surgery to remove cataracts
While patients are being seen by medical staff, family members are encouraged to wait in the center’s spacious reception area. Following the procedure, patients are taken to the recovery room. When ready, the family is called back to speak with the doctor regarding the procedure and discharge instructions and to sit with the patient.
